Is it a Sin to Shudder?

Some readers may recognize me as a writer and editor of horror fiction, while others may know me as a biblical scholar. Some who are familiar with my work in either field have been surprised to learn that I am the same Robert M. Price they know from the other: how can I be active in both? Aren’t they incompatible? Even antipodal? Well, they’re pretty different, I’ll grant you that, but there are some surprising similarities, even connections. I’ll point out some of them here. If you are a Christian and you enjoy horror stories and movies but you feel guilty about it, I hope to convince you that horror should not be a guilty pleasure.
